Year 4 Girls Win English Top Talent Competition on “Managing Money”!

Our Year 4 girls’ team proudly took first place in the regional English competition “English Top Talents,” where schools from across Lower Austria showcased their language skills. This year’s topic, “Managing Money,” challenged students to present creative and thoughtful ideas in English on how to use, save, and spend money wisely as young adults – and our team impressed the judges with an outstanding video performance.

Medina Ademi, Lara Biebl, Rahmah Machhadani and Michelle Zehetgruber were commended for their brilliant economical approach, offering peer advice on how to manage pocket money effectively. They stood out for their strong English language skills and confident presentation.

The award ceremony took place at the Bildungsdirektion in St. Pölten and was attended by high-ranking officials, including the Bildungsdirektor Karl Frittum himself, who presented certificates and awarded each participant a smartwatch as a special first prize.

As an extra highlight, the students enjoyed a guided tour of the capital’s famous Landhaus.

This incredible achievement reflects not only the students’ hard work but also the dedication of the NMS English department and its most committed teachers. Congratulations to all involved!
